Story
This May I was unfortunately diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL), which is a type of cancer. There are only 85 children diagnosed with NHL in the UK each year so I was a bit unlucky! I went into this thinking that going through NHL would help me support my children if they face tough times and even though I still think that I didn’t realise how tough it would be. The doctors and nurses were great, but the rounds of chemotherapy made my sick and each time I caught infections that landed me back in hospitals for a week. Not fun.
On 18 August the doctors told me I was cancer free, which made my 13th birthday the next day even more special. I am very grateful for all the support and treatment I received and want to raise money to make sure the fight against cancer will be won in my lifetime. I don’t want any other children to go through this illness.
I am doing the 60 Miles in September challenge to raise money for Cancer Research, and any donations would be greatly appreciated👍
Thanks so much!
