We lost my very dear father in May 2018 to the very rare form of Lymphoma, Mantle Cell.  He was only 75 years old and frankly not old enough.

Since then Emily, my 9 year old daughter, has been very affected by losing her Grand Pops has been looking for ways to raise money in his memory.  She has organised a book sale and sold things on eBay and have raise just over £250. Emily want to raise more than this and off the back of a school trip she did in October when her and 14 other year 5 children with 7 very brave teachers conquered the summit of Helvellyn (3^rd tallest peak in England) in October 2019, we  decided to do a family 3 peaks challenge, with the added twist of a lake swim for my son and I.

We had planned to climb 3 peaks in 3 days starting with Helvellyn on 24th May, followed by Scarfell Pike and finishing with Snowdon 26th May.  George and I plan to make the challenge a little harder by swimming across Windermere after we have completed Helvellyn.

This was all delayed because of Covid but is now planned for August - 25th - 28th.

My children were so lucky to know my father and have a proper relationship with their grand father, skiing with him just 10 weeks before he left us but as a result they feel his absence all the more.  We know all know he would be very proud of him family and support us all the way.  He was an adventurer in life, sailing across oceans and skiing so many mountains I loose track.   I hope you will feel you can support us and give a little towards this amazing charity and help a other families who are affected by lymphoma.
