Event: 24hr Swim Relay: Clevedon, from 15 June 2024 to 16 June 2024
Participants: Claire Baines, Emily Hawkesford, Jan Cooper, Denzil Warren, Gerrard Noble & Neil Rackham
The challenge is simple. Gather a team of up to 8 swimmers and swim for an hour each, for 24 hours. It really doesn’t matter what your ability is. It’s not a race, no one is being timed or tracked. You swim as much as you want, as fast as you want.

Story

Please note that our event was cancelled due to Mother Nature’s weather!

We have moved to Saturday 14th/Sunday 15th September at Lake 32! Team members are now Claire, Denzil, Emily, John, Maya, Miranda and Neil. Wish us luck 🍀

Thank you for reading this! Along with 6 swimmers from the swimming lesson I teach, we are swimming for 24 hours to raise money so that more children can experience that first splash. Between the 7 of us, one of us will be in the water for a relay of 24 hours! In the cold and the dark - yes, even through the night!

Swimming is like nothing else. The skills you develop, the confidence you build and the joys you feel are all universal. Yet access to swimming in the UK is not.

Level Water use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities by providing bespoke, 1-1 swimming lessons. £15 pays for a swimming lesson, so even a small donation will make a difference!

Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water, which I did and love to help others to do.

Neil, John, Denzil, Emily, Claire, Miranda and I would appreciate any donation, towards helping disabled children access swimming lessons.

Thank you x
