After losing my Dad and various family members to this dreadful illness, and watching my 'bestie' fighting this illness alongside having treatment myself at the age of 23, it brings home how precious life really is.  These illnesses can be prevented if detected earlier enough and if people are not afraid to go and get themselves checked out, life can be protected.  My dad could of been watching my girls grow up if only he been diagnosed earlier.
