Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in September this year and was given a prognosis of 3-6mths.. At moms request, we willingly agreed to bring her home and we took on the 24/7 care of mom at home between the 4 of us. However we were offered night sitter 2/3 times a week from Marie Curie, which we can honestly say was at times, invaluable! 

Mom was a fighter till the end and we all take great comfort in knowing she passed peacefully in our family home with the four of us by her side. 

Sadly, we will not be the only family that has had to call upon the support of Marie Curie over the years. We would love to raise some money for them to show our appreciation. Please help and donate as little or as much as you can in loving memory of our beautiful mom who was affectionately known to most as simply Babs!
