Wimbledon Stables Sponsored Ride 2007 · 9 October 2007

We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

All in the spirit of charity I have signed up to do a sponsored horse-ride on 28th October in aid of the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign... and to make your sponsorship worthwhile and provide some laughs I am doing this in full "Helga the Viking costume", including fur-trimmed  dress and complete with Viking horns and blonde pigtails (axe optional for now).. I have yet to decide how horse Kerry will be turned into a Viking steed, but any suggestions welcome!

The Royal Marsden is a great charity to give to in any case, but in addition to that  just think of how silly I will look and how sore my bum will be after the ride  and please give generously and sponsor me online!

I will have photographic evidence of  Helga on horseback after, but if you want to come see for yourself (and have a little laugh), we start and finish at the Dog & Fox pub in Wimbledon Village... which I am told does great food on a Sunday too!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support,

Barbsx
