Story

Dear All,

I know, you would have never thought I'd do something even vaguely related to exercise, and yet: here I am! I'm going to take part in the 6-mile Great Scottish Walk in Edinburgh on Sunday 22.06.2008:

http://www.greatscottishwalk.com/gsw/events_6mile.php

Yes, ok, it's just a walk, but, still, it's 6 miles!!!! (Never walked for more than 3, I don't think!!).

It's up to you, of course, but I hope you might want to consider rewarding my effort by contributing with a wee donation to SPCA http://www.scottishspca.org/ :D. I've been to see their centre in Balerno and I was impressed by the amount of work they are doing and by the range of animals they shelter there (from dogs and cats to hamsters and birds).

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support,

xxxBarbara
