Story

My daughter was diagnosed with glioblastoma stage 4 2021 when her twins were just 1 month old and it’s been a rocky ride.!Brought her and babies home 2022 then end of 2022 they found a new tumour which was removed in December had 6 months of chemo then in Jan 2024 they told us there was two new tumours which we have just finished two weeks intense radiotherapy . This disease is cruel and doesn’t discriminate it will attack who it wants at whatever age. With each new tumour found this disease takes a bit of my lovely kind daughter away and leaves her more cross emotional and scared but she is a warrior and continues to fight. Please if you can donate please do so no amount is too small. I did 10,000 steps in Feb 2022 and a skydive with my best friend Charlie in 2023 but this is going to be my biggest challenge.

1… I am now 62

2.. I have just had vein surgery on my leg

3..I have C.O.P.D

But every little helps right?

Thank you for reading my story

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
