We provide holistic care to empower people affected by leprosy.

Story

Ever since we saw the photos of The Leprosy Mission's trek to Nepal we have wanted to do this! We will be undertaking the huge personal challenge of a 60-mile trek to heights of 10,000 feet to raise funds for Anandaban hospital in Nepal, which is run by The Leprosy Mission. We hope to come back much fitter, and knowing that our efforts have made some small difference to people affected by leprosy.

Sadly, leprosy is not a disease of the past. One person every two minutes is diagnosed with this stigmatising and disabling disease which remains a public health problem in Nepal.  Anandaban hospital is a lifeline to people affected by leprosy and poverty, providing surgery and medical services to rural mountain communities.
