In memory of Barbara Coutts
We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

My wife Barbara Coutts was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in July 2020 and sadly passed away aged 78 on 5th July 2022. I would like to raise funds in Barbara's memory for MND research as there is no current cure for this very cruel condition which takes away a person's dignity and independence.

I am calling my challenge the 80 up challenge as I will be turning 80 in June 2023 and the challenge which I plan to start on 15th March 2023 (the anniversary of Barbara's birthday) will take place over 80 consecutive days and consist of 80 minutes of exercise each day. The exercise will be 40 minutes on a exercise bike immediately followed by 40 minutes of running on a mini trampoline.

Any donations can be gift-aided at no extra cost to the person making the donation and I thank anybody making a donation to such a worthy charity.
