Story
As most of you will know, we very sadly lost our lovely mum, mother in law and Grandma, Carol to MND on 25th Dec 2020.
In October 2020, our little crew took part in a sponsored walk to the Pepperpot monument in Eaves Wood, Silverdale - where Carol lived. From her home, she could see her grandchildren achieve their goal of reaching the top of the monument whilst raising money towards the Motor Neuron Disease Association and she was so very proud of this.
On 7th August this year, and in Carol's memory, we would like to dust off our walking boots once again, this time taking part in the Arnside to Grange cross bay walk. Here, a small family group will cross the bay walking 8 miles in approximately 3.5 hours with a local guide.
We would love to raise funds again for the MNDA, towards their research into this awful disease and towards helping those living with MND......A specialist wheelchair for a person living with MND costs the charity around £5,000 alone so perosnally being able to seeing how this impacts that persons comfort and independence drives us to raise as much as we possibly can.
Please support us on our next journey over the bay, every penny really does count xXx
