On September 17th 2015, we are taking part in the Cares Shops' Challenge, an initiative of Business in the Community. Bangor Academy is the only school taking part in the apprentice-style project to encourage local businesses to use their entrepreneurial skills to raise the most funds for Action Cancer. For one day a team from Bangor Academy & Sixth Form College will take over the Action Cancer furniture shop in Bangor and attempt to raise as much money as possible. This event is beng supported by various other fundraising activities in the school. Our overall target is £20000.
