Story

On Sunday 1 May 2022, Bamber Bridge Vets will take on a Preston North End Legends XI in a football match at Bamber Bridge FCs Irongate Ground.

This year’s nominated charity is St Catherine’s Hospice, and proceeds from the event will go to help the amazing work they do.

St Catherine's provides palliative and end-of-life care and support for the people of Central Lancashire, through  specialised services at the hospice and in people’s own homes. They help people facing life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure to enjoy the best possible quality of life to the end of life. It costs more than £5m to run the charity every single year. They rely on the amazing efforts and wonderful generosity of supporters like you to help us raise the funds they need. Thank you!
