Make like bread, and rise to the challenge! Are you a whisk-taker, cake faker or a champion bread baker? However and whatever you bake - support people affected by dementia this April.

Story

On the 29th April 2022, myself, my mum and sister in law will be whipping up a storm in the kitchen to raise vital funds to support people affected by Dementia. We will be holding a charity day in work to raise the money.

This, like many others, is personal for me, my Nan Doreen, who reached the ripe old age of 100, suffered with dementia. Its a very cruel disease and takes no prisoners. Due to the pandemic, I haven't been able to see her for the past 2 years and she passed away a few weeks ago. There is currently no cure for this disease so anything we can do to support those living with it, and those who work with people with dementia to make life that little bit easier will help.

All proceeds from this will go to the Alzheimers Society to aid in support for those suffering with dementia.

Anything you can give is incredibly appreciated and a little goes a very long way.
