As some of you may know, over the past year, Sam and I have become runners. Last year, with the help of our sponsors, we raised £343.65 for The Steve Prescott Foundation by completing 14 different events.

In August of last year, we started to consider who we should switch our 2015 fund raising to. We discussed a few local charities, but didn't make a decision. But then on 21st September 2014, we lost our friend Dave Hitchen.

Dave was knocked off his bicycle and killed whilst doing what he loved best. Dave was a one off and the guy my husband considered to be his best mate. Dave was so many things, to so many people. But most importantly, he was a son, a brother, a husband and a Daddy to Isabella. 

So this year, we are raising money for the North West Air Ambulance. For all they did for Dave on that tragic day and the work they do 365 days a year. The North West Air Ambulance need to raise £4.2 million each year to keep flying and in 2015, we will be doing our best to raise as much as possible to help them.

5. 26th April 2015 - Bolton 10K (COMPLETED)
6. 7th June 2015 - Mersey Tunnel 10K (COMPLETED)
7. 14th June 2015 - Liverpool Rock n Roll Half Marathon
