Story
Mr and Mrs Bagnall have decided to join some friends for a last minute ISO 3 Peaks Challenge.
What happens if you multiply 230mm times 14,820?
Answer: 3,408m.
Coincidentally, this happens to be the combined elevation of the tallest mountains in each of Scotland, England and Wales.
Definitely must be getting a little bit stir-crazy, because we’ve just calculated 14,820 is the right number of stairs for us to climb this weekend to replicate the classic "Three Peaks Challenge".
We are going to start in Iso-Scotland to summit Iso-Ben Nevis (440 staircase reps). Then its down to Iso-Lake District to make our way up Iso-Scafell Pike (354 staircase reps). Then we will make our way to Iso-Wales to start the climb up Iso-Snowdon (367 staircase reps).
Why?
Boredom.
Also Why?
Whilst all the generosity in the last few months has been amazing and heart-warming, I want to make sure we are not forgetting those most in need of support right now.
So please feel free to share a little support to those who need it most right now!
OR alternatively join in the fun and climb your own staircase at home!
I'm completing 'Walk the Wight My Way' to help make sure that, even during this challenging time, the most vulnerable in our community are cared for when they need it the most. Its only with our help that Mountbatten can continue to be there for Island people in the last years of life, when the time comes to die and to help those left behind come to terms with their loss. Without our support, Mountbatten cannot afford to deliver the services they do, as well as meet the needs of the increasing number of people who need care and support. Please help me by making a donation of whatever you can afford. Every penny will make a difference. Mountbatten, and Island people facing death, dying and bereavement, are counting on us!
