Gibson Bear's mission is simple: He'll spend the coming months with various military units around the world, travelling by land, sea and air. He'll maintain a blog and tweet while he travels, posting photos of his exploits along the way.

We hope to get him to visit as many units as possible, travelling by as many vehicle types as we can. We're also keen to get him to join personnel on Adventurous Training as well as some of the many charity projects that our troops take on through the year.

When Gibson retires from the Bear Force (currently planned for end of 2015) he, along with any momentos he's collected on his adventure, will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the RAF Benevolent Fund.
