We're bringing you another foolish homemade challenge, this time to raise vital funds for WMUK - a rare blood cancer charity close to Tim's heart.

What this time!?

Inspired by Lazarus Lake's Backyard Ultra, we'll be running a 5km (3.17 mile) loop around Nina & Glenn's house in the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey every hour, on the hour for as long as we can. If you don't finish your loop within the hour time frame or line up for the next loop on the hour... your challenge is over. 

Going Long...

There will be at least 4 of us (Nina, Glenn, Sam, Ryan, and Tim) attempting to log 20+ loops and therefore going beyond the 100+km mark in under 24 hours (100km = 20 hours / 20 laps).

Plus ++

There will a whole bunch of other runners and walkers who will join the 4 of us on the day to set their own stall in the sand - how ever long those challenges may be...5km, 10km?...maybe 50km?

When?

The 3 'Going Long' candidates will be kicking off at 9pm on Friday 13th May (go figure?..)....everyone else will join at 10am on Saturday 14th May where they can launch their own personal challenge, and  also witness the suffering 3 'Going Longs' 1st hand while 'looping-da-loop' with Nina, Glenn, Sam, Ryan, and Tim

Important STUFF!

 WMUK is a small but important charity, supporting people living with a rare form of blood cancer called WM (Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia). There's currently no cure for it, and because it's so rare, there is little information or support out there for people who are diagnosed. WMUK fills that gap, providing patients, their friends and families with a space to learn from and support each other, as well as expert-led information to empower them. Tim's aunt has been living with WM for over 20 years, and this challenge is to support her and every other person affected by the cancer.

Nina & Glenn have kindly donated her backyard for the event, and we're encouraging as many of you to join in, in any way you can - whether that's joining us for a loop or two, donating, or helping us to fundraise for this important cause.
