An emergency appeal has been launched by Suffolk Community Foundation and its partners: The Cost of Living Surviving Winter Appeal. There are already some 75,000 households in Suffolk that are in fuel poverty and this Appeal (this year incorporating our annual Surviving Winter campaign) will help to heat homes, support emergency food provision and, via a grants programme to local charities and community groups, help to sustain and increase support for the many other challenges severely affecting health and wellbeing during this difficult time. Put simply, a donation to this countywide Appeal will provide immediate support and an essential lifeline to many of the most vulnerable within our local communities.
