Story
I am riding 100 miles around London and Surrey for Jewish Interactive because they inspire children with engaging technology.
Jewish Interactive (Ji) is a wonderful charity and I've had the privilege of being a trustee for the last few years. I'm constantly inspired with the work they do bringing Jewish religion, culture, history and future to the next generation of school children.
Until now Jewish education was not taught with interactive tools, unlike other subjects. Children were simply not engaging with Jewish education.
Ji changed that by providing world-leading educational technology to create accessible, affordable and engaging Jewish education for any child, anywhere.
This has led to interesting developments outside of the Jewish world, with RE curricula requiring the teaching of more than one religion, Ji is perfectly placed to deliver it's educational materials to all manner of schools.
To date, we have produced 11 apps and our premier app 'Ji Tap', which are being used across 50 countries by over 500,000 children.
Ji Tap has over 8,000 games to help teach children about Judaism, Hebrew and Jewish heritage. And what’s more, the children can create their own games too!
But none of this would be useful without teachers knowing how to use it so we also provide high quality Educational Tech training to both teachers and children.
I'm raising money for this wonderful charity by cycling 100 miles around London and Surrey. Please support me!
