Hi friends and family, 

Thank you for taking the time out to visit my page. On September 18th (in just under two weeks!), I'm running 5K in Reigate Park to raise money for the devastating situation which currently faces Pakistan. 

I personally feel that it is our responsibility as global citizens to provide support in whatever capacity we can for those who are out on the field working tirelessly to save lives, spread resources and provide shelter. This will be my first organised run since 2006, so I'm starting with a small challenge of 5K and aspire to raise as much money as I can from the community of family and friends I'm lucky to be surrounded by. 

I would be grateful for your kind support so we can put our best foot forward as brothers and sisters of those affected.

Pakistan Floods: More than 33 million people have been displaced Pakistan is currently experiencing extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in catastrophic flash flooding across the country. According to local authorities the death toll since mid-June has reached nearly 1,000, with 1,456 injured and millions displaced. Many parts of Pakistan have become inaccessible, and rescuers are struggling to evacuate thousands of stranded people from affected areas. Balochistan and Sindh provinces are the hardest hit areas.
