Azets Diabetes 24/7 Challenge

Azets 24/7 · 24 April 2021
We’re asking teams and individuals across Azets to have fun, work together, and fundraise!
To highlight the impact of a 24/7 condition like type 1 diabetes, we’re asking you to do 24 of something (keep reading for an explanation) on 24 April, and then consider donating €7/£7 to our fundraising page.
The “24 of something” can be anything you like! You can do something alone, or in your work teams or offices – it's completely up to you. It’s a chance to have fun, do some team-building, or maybe get healthy and do some physical training, all while raising money for a great cause. Here are some ideas...
If you go down the physical route and want to track your training, we’ve set up a Strava group that you can join, here: https://www.strava.com/clubs/873582 or search "The Azets Diabetes 247 Challenge"
We don’t want to tell people who they should fundraise and have fun with! We have so many different teams and cultures across Azets and that’s something to embrace and empower. It could be that your department leader organises something, or perhaps your smaller team that you work more closely with comes up with an idea in a team meeting.
If you want to do something in your teams or offices, go for it and make it happen!
You can also take part in more than one thing. If your local office does a baking challenge, you could join in with that, and then cycle 24 miles to burn some calories! :)
24 April isn’t for another seven weeks, so you and your
teams have plenty of time to think of ideas. We’ll also keep posting about the challenge in Pulse, sharing ideas from colleagues and sharing other content to keep you inspired.
