On the 7th of March 2018 we lost our beloved mother (Jahanara Begum) to cancer. Our mother was a wonderful person and although it has been 3years since she returned to our lord, the pain of not having her with us will always remain. 

We began a gofundme page In april 2018 and managed to raise only £1137 however our target was £10000. We have restarted the funding page in the hope that we can complete what we had intended to achieve and fulfil our dream of building a masjid in her name. We have reduced our target significantly to £3000 and really hope we can reach this small target with everyone’s help and beautiful donations on these last blessed 10nights. 

I have included the link below to show what charity we are using to make this building of a masjid possible. We have decided to build a small masjid in Sudan for the local community to use. My mother was a very pious and god fearing woman, she spent most of her days in ibaadah and giving charity. May Allah swt reward her and have mercy on her soul Ameen. 

Please any support is great even if it is £1 it will make that much difference. May Allah grant you all Jannah and reunite us all as brothers and sisters on the day of judgment Ameen.

As the hadith says:

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. (Bukhari)

A masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate as well as being a hub for educational programmes and other everyday services. The role of the masjid is to help people learn more about Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development.

By building a masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a house of Allah, but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come in sha’Allah.
