BEN NEVIS CHALLENGE 2009 - CLIMB FOR WATER

Ok, I've deluded myself into thinking that I'm fit enough to climb the highest mountain in the UK. The things I do for charity, but the blood and sweat, not to forget the shooting pains up and down my left arm, will most certainly be worth it when I'm standing on the ridge at 4,409ft.

 

Please help me in my valiant effort by donating as much as you can for the cause. All of the money recieved will go towards providing clean, safe drinking water to some of the billion or so people around the world who lack adequate access. Roughly 80% of all sickness and disease in the world is caused by inadequate water or sanitation which accounts for approximately 2.2 million deaths per year according to the World Health Organisation.

 

"Water is the basic liquid of life" so please please help me make this a reality for many people across the globe. The Ben Nevis Climb for Water trek is being organised by the charity Islamic Relief and I will climb on the 26th July - Yes, I am having a nervous break down at the moment because the only preparation I've done so far is climb the stairs! (on my way to take a quick nap).
