Crosshouse Neonatal Unit

Nicola Miller is raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Ayrshire's Creative Craft Market · 10 April 2022

Crosshouse Childrens Fund - a new charitable fund established by Glasgow Childrens Hospital Charity to support children and families from across Ayrshire and Arran who are cared for in the Paediatric, Ayrshire Maternity and Neonatal Units.

Story

Each year, over 500 babies are born prematurely in Ayrshire and need extra special care at Neonatal Unit at Ayrshire Maternity.

Myself and my family are so grateful of the support 15 years ago this April when they helped my daughter as she was born six weeks premature and only weighed 3Ib. Due to the support we received it got us through a very difficult time, the staff were amazing and I cant thank them enough.

I am hosting Ayrshire's Creative Craft Market on the 10th of April at the Riverside Lodge Hotel. The event is free entry but would appreciate any donations. The money will go to the unit to help other Ayrshire families in neonatal.
