Cyclone Idai has swept through Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, leaving behind a trail of destruction, killing hundreds of people and affecting an estimated 2.6 million people.
All this week Aylesford school will be raising money for the appeal in Zimbabwe following Cyclone Idai
They will be raising money by taking part in fundraising projects all this week. Staff and students will be sponsored for having sponges thrown at them, for sponsored runs and a non uniform day on Friday.
Please encourage students to get involved in events to show compassion which is one of our key character strengths by thinking globally by acting locally and feel free to donate using the link below to raise as much as possible for those affected by the cyclone.
We’re raising money to support those in need via the DEC.
