I will be running the London Marathon this year to raise funds to support my dear friend Naomi Shefford whose daughter Phoebe has been fighting neuroblastoma since she was 9 months old, which has progressed to a more serious neuroblastoma.

Now 2 years old, Phoebe continues to fight with a smile on her face despite all she has been through. She has endured extensive chemotherapy.

Despite this extensive treatment regime the disease will not respond to therapy for up to 20% of children, and of those who do complete treatment up to 60% will relapse. For this reason I will be fundraising so that if the best option for Phoebe is not available on the NHS, her family have the funds secured to access it.
