Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 19th June 2018 I was diagnosed with breast Cancer and had decided to raise money for one year but have now extended this until October 2019. I'm raising money not just for breast Cancer but for all Cancers. My husband died of prostate Cancer age 52 in November 2010, no signs or symptoms. Sadly men don't get screened and I would really like that to change. The more research and screening we have, the better chance we (man, woman & child) all have of surviving Cancer. My Cancer was picked up by routine screening.
We need more drugs/treatments and screening to improve the chance of surviving Cancer. Going through Cancer treatment is like going through a war zone, but my latest news is I have been given the 'all clear' and am now CANCER FREE, so you see, with a little more fundraising others can beat it too. I did set my target at £500 but as you can see we have passed that target and hope that you will help me to raise as much as we can. Thank you
