I have chosen to run and raise money for Age UK as I believe older people should be able to live well. Day to day tasks that many of us take for granted like getting dressed, using the toilet, making a meal, or getting to the shops can be almost impossible for many older people without help. Age UK can provide them with the right care and support.

Most people will feel lonely at some point in their lives. It’s a deeply personal experience that - in most cases - will thankfully pass. Sadly, 3.9 million older people say the TV is their main source of company and 1 million will spend Christmas alone. Donating to this page will help the national Age UK to continue providing vital services that offer companionship, advice and support for millions of older people facing later life alone.
