Event: The Ovarian Cancer Walk - London, on 14 October 2017
In memory of JULIE VOIGT
The Ovarian Cancer Walk is back, bigger and better for 2017! Hundreds of walkers and runners will be joining us in London and Edinburgh, taking steps and raising money to beat ovarian cancer.

Story

My wife Julie was diagnosed on the 10th February 2016 with Advanced Ovarian Cancer and died on Tuesday 7th February 2017 with me at her side in our home. Julie loved life and was the most caring, helpful, passionate and beautiful person you could ever wish to meet. She had the most infectious smile and would do anything for anyone. Julie was a fantastic Mum to our daughter Nicola and our son Lee, as well as her stepson  and my son Aaron. She doted on her 8 grandchildren and would have love so much to see them all growing up.

This disease is horrible and called the "silent killer" and that is exactly what it is and by the time Julie got diagnosed it was well advanced and none of the chemotherapy or the trial drugs could prevent the disease from taking my lovely wife at such a young age.

Julie I love you so much and miss you more then anything in the world and that is the reason I will do this emotional journey and walk the 10km with our best friend Karen as she will only be able to walk not run.

I hope some of my family and friends will sponsor me with whatever you can afford, so that we can fight Ovarian Cancer, as it so deadly to so many people. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
