Story

As a team, myself and my colleagues have come together on one page to raise funds for Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland by attempting to climb Blencathra, the 14th highest wainwright at Sunset.

On February 2nd 2020 we sadly lost my father in law, Henry, to cancer. During his last days he was cared for at Eden Valley Hospice so we know only too well what a fantastic job the hospice staff do both at the patients homes and in the hospice itself.

Please help support in anyway you can to this wonderful cause even by just sharing this page and hopefully myself and my colleagues will do everyone proud ❤️

Hospice at Home provides high quality care and support for adults who have palliative and end of life care needs, whilst also supporting their families and carers. As a charity we rely on the kindness and generosity of our local community. Although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise over 80% of our running costs in order to ensure that this vital help is available when needed and remains free of charge to patients and their families. With your support we will be able to provide 'Local Care for Local People' - thank you.
