Story
Kate, Daisy, Freya and James have decided to run the Royal Parks half marathon in October to help raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The Royal Marsden is the world's first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education.
To put things in perspective, none of us are runners and so this will be no easy feat. Kate hasn't gone on a run since having Rose almost 2 years ago; Daisy's lack of pre-race organisation and her general laziness means she'll probably get tendinitis again; Freya's running experience goes no further than the basketball court (for now...); and James just ran his first 5k. To reiterate...this will be no easy feat!
Each one of us personally knows someone who has been struck by cancer, and the more we can do to prevent this awful disease, the better! The Royal Marsden plays a key role in kicking cancer's a**, so please donate as little (or as much!) as you would like. Honestly, no sum is too low.
The more money we collectively raise, the sillier our costumes will be. And the most generous donor will get a say in the theme of our costumes!
