Story
Awakening project is a small initiative of home makes, bakes and blogs shared with the purpose of celebrating homemade, community and social impact. The heartbeat of this project is to invite our customers to take small steps in making a difference in our World, advocating for social change through altering consumption habits and blessing others too.
We are conscious of our Bake waste. We usually trial products before we sell them and often, we are left with a huge batch of leftovers. We want to turn bake waste into blessing! ...and also trim down while you eat more ;) Yes. Sharing is caring!
This winter we are fundraising for Tearfund's Christmas appeal, where the money raised will help vulnerable families and communities affected by conflict and poverty specifically in Central African Republic - a country trapped in cycles of ongoing violence. In response to the high standard of Tearfund's work overseas and the transformative results achieved in lifting communities out of poverty, every pound donated is doubled by the government! So your £10 becomes £20, our £250 target becomes £500!!!
So... for every £10 donated we would love to gift you a pack of our new, festive **surprise** bakes!
Alternatively, 20% of the proceeds from anything else ordered on our Awakening Page (https://awakening-project.weebly.com) will be donated to this appeal.
