Story
Avonvale is supporting the appeal to help the animal victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Please donate to the WSPA so they can continue this invaluable work.
On 8 November, a devastating ‘super’ typhoon hit the Philippines. Typhoon Haiyan is one of the strongest storms in recorded history, with winds of up to 133 miles per hour. Entire cities and communities have been devastated, and thousands of human and animal lives have been lost.
Among the chaos of this disaster-beaten area are starving and injured dogs, cats and farm animals fighting for survival. Just like people, these animals will be suffering greatly – anything from injury caused by falling rubble, disease from filthy water or starvation. Please help WSPA provide urgent care and treatment today.
You could help save animals’ lives
Surviving animals are likely to need medicines, veterinary care, food, water and shelter. Animals can drink more water than usual when under stress, and to prevent fatal disease, this water needs to be clean – not dirty flood water. WSPA’s Disaster Response Team is there ready to help but we need your gift to reach as many animals as possible.
Here’s how your gift to WSPA’s Disaster Fund could help:
A speedy response saves lives
Every day that’s lost, more animals are dying. We don’t know what we’re going to face but WSPA’s Disaster Response Team are determined to reach as many animals as possible.
A quick response can make all the difference to thousands of animals’ lives.
A big thank you from the whole team at Avonvale for donating to WSPA’s Disaster Fund today.
