Story
Now more than ever, YOU can equip our hospital teams with the critical tools they need today. YOUR support will expand and enhance critical care capacity in Victoria now and into the future.
When patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) start to improve, there is no transitional unit between the ICU and acute inpatient unit where patients continue to be closely monitored. High Acuity Units (HAUs) serve patients recovering from surgery, severe respiratory distress, or being treated for other serious medical conditions. Without HAUs, the pressure placed on adjacent departments like inpatient units and Emergency Departments is heightened when our hospitals respond to threats like COVID-19.
Its Critical will fund a new 8-bed High Acuity Unit for Royal Jubilee Hospital, a first for Island Health.
Please join me in supporting the Victoria Hospitals Foundation and our local hospitals. Your can help transform healthcare for patients fighting for their lives.
Today, and tomorrow.

In partnership with Island Health, the Victoria Hospitals Foundation enables donations to all areas of care at Royal Jubilee, Victoria General, and Gorge Road hospitals. We raise funds for medical equipment, special projects, education, and research, benefitting all 850,000 Island residents.
