Hello my dearest friends, family and all those inbetween! 
As some of you may know, in September of 2014 I will be leaving you for 10 weeks to volunteer with the ICS in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. 
During this time I will be living with a host family and working with the Human Dignity Centre. Through the work that we will be doing we aim to restore families, reduce poverty, and provide children of the area with quality education, food, clothing, and support - hopefully uplifting the community for the future. 

All this is made possible for me and people of the community of the Walmer Township in Port Elizabeth by the Lattitude through the International Citizen Service (ICS) who will not only be arranging the work but also paying for my food, flights and accommodation. In order for this programme to continue so that more young people like me (and therefore some of you who may want to get involved in the future!) this great organisation need all the donations they can get - which is where you come in! Over the course of the next few months, prior to my departure, I will be doing various events such as fundraising gigs, bike rides and such like. This is to encourage you lovely people to donate some of your hard earned money to this fantastic cause! All the money will be going directly to the Lattitude Organisation and not me! My goal is to raise £1500, so please help me achieve this!

So please please please give absolutely anything you can, even if anything you can is £1, seriously, every little helps! Whether you're donating based on my fundraising feats or simply out of kindness please do not hesitate to ask all the questions you wish and I will do my best to inform!
