Ava and Jacob are 8 years old and they have been friends since the day they were born! They have got up to lots of mischief together and have gone on lots exciting family adventures over the years. Ava‘s little sister Ruby has complex special needs and Jacob has always taken extra care to ensure that she was included in their fun. 

Unfortunately Ruby’s condition now means that she requires extensive house adaptations to make her home safe and accesible. Ava and Jacob have together decided that they would like to try and raise some money for the fundraiser - Ruby’s Big Build, so that they can help as much as they can.

Together, they have decided that in April 2021 they will cycle a whopping 100 miles throughout the month. They want to share their journey with everyone and will be posting regular videos and updates of their progress!

We hope that everyone will get behind this fantastic pair and support them through this challenge. We would also welcome any other children or young people to get involved if they would like and set a cycle challenge that is achievable for them!
