We are a small national charity supporting families affected by RTS, a rare chromosome disorder, the main features of which are a learning disability and a high incidence of various physical and behavioural problems. We are entirely dependent on donations and all funds directly benefit families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My Daddy and his friend Marco are swimming the "London BT Great Swim" on the "2nd July 2011" to help raise money for the "Rubenstein Taybi Syndrome" charity group (RTS).

I was born with a rare genetic syndrome called RTS which affects 1 in 125,000 live births.  I had a rough start to my life because of this syndrome and I know I have a hard time ahead of me learning things that you take for granted.  Physically I will always stuggle to do things that children without disabiltities do so naturally.  The money raised will goes towards researching my syndrome and identifying ways of giving me a fruitful life without the associated medical issues as there are so many.  This syndrome is so rare, most people have never heard of it which makes it more difficult to understand the impact it can have on individuals and their families.

So please dig deep and donate now and help my dad and marko raise money for a good cause.
