Autovista WaterWalk

Autovista WaterWalk · 24 September 2018
Did you know that millions of children in the world's poorest countries walk more than 5 miles a day just to get water for their basic needs?
They carry as much as 20 litres in a back-breaking bid to provide their families with water for drinking, cooking and washing. They can only dream of turning on the tap to get the water they need.
During September, UNICEF is running a worldwide initiative called WaterWalk designed to encourage people to walk at least 5 miles every day for a week and raise money to help provide the infrastructure and wells to ensure that by 2030 no child will have to walk more than 30 minutes round trip to get water.
We have decided to hold our very own Autovista WaterWalk between Monday 24 September and Sunday 30 September. To join in the fun and help to show solidarity with the world's most vulnerable children, all we ask is that you donate £5/€5 to our Autovista WaterWalk for UNICEF fund and pledge to walk at least 5 miles every day for a week.
