For many of our neighbors in need, the holiday season often means a struggle to put food on the table. Help the Central Texas Food Bank ensure that our neighbors in need can gather around a full table.

Story

$30 helps provide a 28lb box of food!

The Horn, KOKE-FM and 105.3 The Bat, are helping fight hunger this holiday season with their "Buy a Box" campaign benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank.

For our Central Texas neighbors in need, your donation has a meaningful impact this holiday season. Your gift connects our community through shared access to the nourishing meals we all deserve. To support he safety of our community, the Food Bank has shifted their distribution model to emergency food boxes. Due to work stoppages, business closures, and furloughs, many of those served today are new clients, finding themselves in need for the first time during the pandemic.

The Food Bank is working tirelessly to try and meet the increased demand for services. The ability to safely connect the community to the nourishing food they need through drive-through and drop-and-grab settings comes at a cost. The Food Bank has to purchase these boxes and the nutritious food to fill them. Your $30 can help provide a 28lb box of food--that's enough for 23 meals!

A gift today helps ensure the Food Bank can respond when they're needed most. Now more than ever, it is vital to come together to provide the sustained support for our neighbors in need.
