UPDATE: Thanks to the generosity of this community and the contributions of the Austin federal judges and Austin FBA, we have surpassed our $50,000 goal and have raised over 232,000 meals. During this season of giving, we’ve raised our goal to $75,000 to provide even more meals to families in need.

This holiday season, please join Judge Lee Yeakel, Judge Robert Pitman, Senior Judge James Nowlin, Senior Judge Sam Sparks of the Austin Division of the Western District of Texas and the Austin Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in raising money for a truly worthy cause: the Central Texas Food Bank.

The Central Texas Food Bank  provides comprehensive support to Texans facing hunger challenges, providing free meals, education, and assistance locating and obtaining benefits from federal assistance programs.

In 2020, central Texas families have faced unprecedented challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of our lives. Many of our neighbors with the least to spare have been hit the hardest by the toll the pandemic has taken on our health and our economy.
