This July, I will be taking part in a charity skydive to raise much needed funds for a wonderful charity. I need to raise at least £500 to be able to make the jump, so please dig deep and donate now for a very worthy cause.

Heights are really not my thing, and my internal risk alert is screaming at me to reconsider. I have never done anything like this before, so yes, I am a little terrified at the prospect of throwing myself out of a moving aircraft at 15,000ft but your support will make it all worthwhile.

The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity is a support network I hope I never, ever have to turn to. It is, however, an invaluable friend to the parents and families of children with a life threatening or terminal illness.
