Story
Fantastic! You've made it to my fundraising page :)
Here's the story:
In September 2006 I broke my collar bone in an cycling accident. After 2 days of sitting on my bum, I got exercise withdrawal symptoms. One of these was finding things to do once I got better. In this fury, I convinced my friend Keri to sign up to the Bath Half Marathon. So we filled in the forms and once I was allowed to run, we started training and on a cold Sunday in March we ran those 13.1 miles. After the ordeal, I vowed that I was never going to it again...
In Auguste 2007, Keri and I received emails inviting us to sign up to the Balf Half '08. After a few weeks of indecisiveness, we filled in the forms and started training, but this time for a good cause: Phab Kids.
Through this website you can sponsor me by giving a lump sum for fun, or you can go to the blog Keri and I have set up, take part in the sweepstakes, and give the money you've promised through this site. (the blog also has fun and interesting details about our training, so have a look at it anyways)
Now, they promise that donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. And that is the most efficient way to sponsor me, because Phab will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you (it's magic).
