Story
Many of you will know Audrey. Audrey has been volunteering with the Red Cross from over 75 years, half the time British Red Cross has existed! She started off as a nurse, supported in our event first aid for many years- and has been a fundraising force for many years as well! Every year Audrey collecting during Red Cross Week- normally at least 3 times, including the City of London street collection and London Bridge train station. In 2019 she raised just under £700 in total throughout the week, which is just incredible! Can you help her do it again?
Audrey and I have been talking weekly since lockdown (I'm delighted to say she is doing well, although bored with being cooped up as she is very socialable!) When I mentioned we were doing virtual bucket shakes, she told me she was more than happy to lend her name to one, so here we are- Audrey's bucket!
Please do share what you can- and let's not break Audrey's Red Cross Week successful tradition, despite these times!
