Story
Hi Everyone!
I am participating in a 30-day fundraising cycle for The Ronald McDonald House, an onsite house at Crumlin Children's Hospital that houses 20 families a night of sick children from across Ireland. Since opening 15 years ago it has been a home to over 4,000 families from across the island of Ireland.
The past few months have been tough for all Irish households and The Ronald McDonald House has been no different. Coronavirus has disrupted the lives of families of sick children cruelly, and it continues to complicate their already turbulent lives. Through it all the House continues to be a crucial lifeline for them. Their fundraising income is at risk and they’ve already estimated the loss of vital donations to be in the hundreds of thousands. They need our help!!
I am aiming to cycle over 250km in 30 days, and raise €200+ for the House to ensure it stays open through the end of 2020. I hope you please consider donating to my page to help keep this vital organisation open.
The RCSI Fundraising Team was started by the RCSI Cycling and Mountain Biking Club in collaboration with RCSI Dublin Outreach Club, who did some amazing volunteering and fundraising work for the Ronald McDonald House last academic year 2019-2020. Please visit my individual fundraising page or our TeamRCSI page to donate under my name.
Sincerely,
Audrey
