Story
Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most of you know, I will be running the British 10K London Run on the 11th July.
I will be running for Charity, and I have chosen the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (ASBAH), which is very important to me.
ASBAH is a registered charity providing advice, help and support for those with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. This illness is a birth defect that affects the development of the spine and nervous system (for more info see http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/spina-bifida/Pages/Introduction.aspx). ASBAH receives no central government funding and relies entirely upon donations and the goodwill of volunteers.
So here I am!!
For some of you, a 10K race might sound really easy, but I can tell you that for someone unfit like me, it needs training!! I started to run two months ago, and I am getting there, as I can now run 7 km. Almost there!
Your donations will motivate me to keep going, so please I count on you all!!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you all,
Audrey
