Our 50k in 7 days challenge for Epilepsy Action

Walk 50k for National Epilepsy Week (24 - 30 May) · 30 May 2021
We are fundraising for Epilepsy Action during National Epilepsy Week.
You may not know but our son Josh has epilepsy. He started having seizures when he was just 2 days old. By the time he was 3 months old he had been in hospital 7 times (not including his initial stint on Neonatal Intensive Care) and had had more tests and investigations than most adults would have in a lifetime (including 2 MRIs, CT scans, 4 EEGs, periods of continuous brain monitoring via CFM, countless blood tests and more!). Now 7 months old, he continues to receive the most exceptional care from the neonatal and paediatric teams at St Peter’s Hospital as well as the specialists from St George’s Hospital and Kings College Hospital.
Epilepsy Action provide information and support for people with epilepsy and their families which we have found to be incredibly helpful as we learn more about this condition. We wanted to raise money to support the work they do in helping families. If you are able to donate any amount we would be so grateful.
Thank you,
Lucy and James x
