Story
Our Volunteers were recently called to a local farm where 13 cats had been dumped. As you can see from the photos above, the cats are beautiful but are really in need of some rest, love and care. They have all visited our local vet and received a check up, some are on iv fluids have suffered from malnutrition, others may loose an eye and have cat flu. Some may need to be in our care for longer before they are able to be rehomed to get over their ordeal.
We called this appeal the Lucky Thirteen Appeal because we were able to rescue these cats. From now on, their luck has changed and they will be well cared for, loved and treated as they deserve to be treated.
We are raising funds today to cover the cost of their veterinary visit and treatment and to cover the cost of their ongoing care too. The target we are aiming for is to raise £100 per cat. We may need to raise more but this is a fantastic start and we thank you for any donation you can make no matter how large or small.
We appreciate our supporters so very much and we could not continue our volunteer work without people like you so thank you very much.
Please do also share this page with your nearest and dearest.
With best wishes from all the volunteers at Atherton and Wigan Cats Protection Branch
*Any funds raised over our £1300 target will be used to support other cats and kittens in our care*
