Associated Architects fundraiser for Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Cancer Appeal · 1 September 2022

We fund equipment, research & facilities to support patients at our four hospitals

Story

Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer; an alarming statistic.

However, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charity Cancer Appeal is making an enormous difference to the thousands of patients in Birmingham who have received this terrible news - including loved ones of the Associated Architects team.

Donations have enabled the hospital to save the lives of those with previously inoperable tumours by bringing two of the world’s most advanced radiotherapy machines – CyberKnife and TomoTherapy – to the hospital.

However, they still need help. They have launched a £1 million appeal to fund drugs trials which Associated Architects are delighted to support through our STEPtember challenge, collectively walking 10 MILLION steps across the month of September.
