which charts my travels.
I'm taking on the Aspire Coast to Coast Challenge walking 192 miles over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire. Every four hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a Spinal Cord Injury. It is a devastating, catastrophic injury that can happen to anyone, without warning or with the ability to prepare. In a split second, your life is irrevocably changed. Aspire provides support, Housing and advice to ensure spinal cord injured people can go on to live a fulfilled and independent life. We are all being encouraged to exercise for an hour every day. I am going to cover the 192 miles over 12 weeks and ensure every step will make a difference. It's a huge distance so please help me make every walk count and give whatever you can.
It’s been great re-tracing the route first described by Wainwright (1973) from St Bees Head to Robin’s Hood Bay. (http://www.coastto.co.uk/) Of course my walk has taken me around the hills, beaches and parks of Aberdeen and shire. 🙂
